What is the Invisalign treatment process like?

Once you decide that Invisalign is right for your child, the team takes digital impressions with the iTero intraoral scanner. They upload these impressions into Invisalign’s proprietary software and create your child’s individualized treatment plan.

Each set of clear aligners targets different teeth to shift them into the correct position. For the treatment to remain effective, your child must wear Invisalign for at least 22 hours a day. They can take Invisalign out to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As the treatment progresses, your child’s teeth slowly start to straighten and shift into a more aligned position.
